RV-14 builder Marvin McGraw bought one of our 10" tailwheels and fitted it to his RV-14. Here is his report on how he did it:

The Vans stinger is 0.640" diameter with predrilled AN3 (3/16") holes at 1/2" on center. The Bearhawk assembly is setup for a 0.750" diameter stinger with AN4 (1/4") holes at 1" on center. To do so, two shoulder washers were used in the rearmost Bearhawk hole to bring it to 3/16" and an NAS6603-16 bolt with an MS21042-3 nut were installed. Marvin reported back to us after he had several hundred take offs and landings that his Bearhawk Tailwheel was working great on the RV-14.
